Liberdade



Eu ouvi dizer
que ele renasceu naquela bela manhã de domingo
sentando na nave ornada pelas flores da estação

de frente ao púlpito
ouvindo o cantor ao piano
tocando o hino da libertação
sim, ele está pronto
para olhar o céu
e voltar a sorrir
sem um trago
de amargura
sem a solidão triste
e eu torço tal qual alguém
que num simples gesto
abre uma gaiola
e mostra ao pássaro:
você está livre

sem parar...

    The Last Song é uma linda canção. Lembro da primeira vez que ouvi seus acordes e voz de Elton.

    Não sabia, mas agora faz sentido, o fato de Elton dedica-la ao jovem Ryan White.
